The Penn State Nittany Lions are a team in the NCAA. They compete in the Big Ten and previously as an independent for football and the Atlantic 10 for basketball. They get their name from the mountain lions that once roamed near the school and from Mount Nittany. Their colors are blue and white. They are located in State College, Pennsylvania.
